With my heart full of love (and dust), I’m back home in San Francisco from Burning Man! It was one of my best years ever – full of beautiful art, lovely conversations and connections with fellow playa wanderers, and intimate times with old and new friends. ❤️ ⠀⠀⠀⠀⠀⠀⠀⠀⠀ I came across these intertwined, dancing bees during one of the famous Burning Man whiteout dust storms. For about 10 minutes I couldn’t see anything around me, except pure white. Then, suddenly the whiteout cleared and the bees appeared seemingly out of nowhere. ⠀⠀⠀⠀⠀⠀⠀⠀⠀ Built by @andreagreenlees, Andy Tibbetts, and Josh Haywood – the ‘Bee Dance’ is based off the intricate dance that forager bees do when they return to their hive to communicate with all the other bees to show the distance and direction of the food they found, so that the worker bees can go and gather the rest. The bees are also wearing ballet shoes. ?♀️? ⠀⠀⠀⠀⠀⠀⠀⠀⠀ #burningman #burningman2019 #blackrockcity #playa #burningmanart
